  2. Your dog may become a victim of confusion, nervousness and even seizures. The pet might go lethargic and can also show some abnormal behavior and completely opposite to its actual behavior. This is one of the major Lyme Disease Symptoms in Dogs.
  3. Fever can also develop as a result of Lyme disease in your dogs and the temperature might rise to 103-105 degrees Fahrenheit. Vomiting and anorexia can also be noticed in Lyme Disease Dogs.
  4. The symptoms may resemble to the symptoms of kidney failure like bad smelling breathe like ammonia, severely increased or decreased urination. Even the abdomen of dogs may swell or extend to an alarming level.
  5. The above symptoms were not much severe while the severe ones may include encephalitis, protein losing glomerulonueropathy, kidney failure, myocarditis, and meningitis.
  6. Other Dog Lyme Disease Symptoms include stiff walk with an arched back, sensitive to touch, difficulty in breathing, lack of appetite, depression.
  7. Other symptoms reported which are rare are heart abnormalities leading to complete heart blockage and nervous system complications.
