In other words, you can use cannabis in the state without consequences, but rules still apply. Buying your supply in Colorado is easy with numerous dispensaries. You can even pre-order your cannabis in Denver, CO online from a few websites and dispensaries. In Colorado, you need to be 21 years of age or older to use recreational cannabis. An ID issued by government is required to buy your supplies. Recreational cannabis is not legal for those between 18 and 21 years of age, but if the person has a medical cannabis card, they can buy marijuana legally. About using marijuana in general
If you are new to cannabis and want to use it for recreational purpose alone, make sure that you start slow. There are two kinds of strains – Indica and Sativa, and third one is called hybrids, which are usually a mix of both. For a more energized high and to elevate your mood, go for sativa-dominant cannabis strains, while Indica-based strains are best suited for nighttime use, for a more relaxing effect. Hybrids can be purchased in various forms, but new users should consider smoking or vaping pens to understand the experience. Many Colorado dispensaries do have edibles on sale but before you buy, always check the THC content.
